Track achievements
- Earned 2005 All-American honors in the NCAA track and field champs placing 8th in the 10,000m;
- Named the 2006 Big 12 Performer of the Year after being the first runner in the history of the conference to win three Big 12 titles in the 3,000m steeplechase (10:09), 5,000m (16:16) and 10,000m (33:28) in the same weekend and scored a school record of 30 points in the same meet;
- Earned All-American honors in the NCAA track and field champs placing 3rd in the 10,000m with a time of 33:08;
